I have sent a reply back, unfortunately i didn't check the 'Save Message' box. Basically I told him that his wholesalers are wrong, and they aren't;

"different versions"

neither do the headphones come in,

"different packaging"

I told longly_gg that I trusted Audio Technica, not his wholesalers, and I expect a refund!

The ATH-ON3 headphones are not sold in the European market but I can confirm that ATH-ON3 headphones are packaged in a plastic box. (See attached)

 

The best tip for purchasing genuine headphones is to use a genuine reseller. You can purchase headphones directly from atheadphones.com or searching for a local reseller on the Henley Designs website http://www.henleydesigns.co.uk/dealer_search.asp

 

You can always contact Audio-Technica to check if a headphones in non genuine, and if the price is too good to be true it usually is. If you are ever in doubt about headphones on eBay or other market style websites, please contact Audio-Technica and we can look into it further.

 

It would be a great help to have any information relating to non genuine headphones sent to this address. If we can help support in any other way please do not hesitate to ask.

I have told you many times that Audio Technica themselves have confirmed these as fake, yet you still go on disputing this, giving various reasons that don't stand up. Like I said, I'll trust Audio Technica with information on their own products, rather than someone like you, who when blatantly faced with facts, continues to deny them!

Audio Technica have confirmed that they do not sell the ATH-ON3 in a plastic bag, and I'm sure they know more about their own products than you or me!

So please don't ask me to "accept the cancellation" then ask "why have you canceled?"

as you can see longly_gg still denies the fact that the ATH-ON3's he's selling are fake. This statement is wrong.

1) I had a pair of the original, and there are differences.

2) That Audio Technica has confirmed that they are fake, and no, they don't do a different version.

.... and you chose to continue to dispute with me.

I don't give a damn what your supplier said, I've told you in every email that Audio Technica has conformed the fakes.

Listen to your customers next time and things might go a bit smoother!

I've sold my headphones on ebay before. My Ultrasone cost me £165 sold for £125. yet you think i should sell them for £30 according to your twisted perspective.

you expect me to believe that you are honest and that you don't think these are fake. I think you deserve to be taken off ebay altogether. Actually I think i'l take this further.

Got my money back, unfortunately because of the form i had to agree to, the listing was canceled and taken off, and I couldn't leave any feedback. I think sellers either;

A) know full well what they're doing

B) should at least look at the real thing.


If someone dropped a pair of headphones in my lap, headphones I knew nothing about, the first thing I'd do is find the manufacturers site, then see how much they go for via the resellers/dealer list, so I know what price to punt them out at. why would i want to sell a pair of $100 for $25, when i could sell them for $100! I would expect any intelligent being to do that.

Thing is, these sellers are in the wrong, and like ajjekko's seller, these people want to keep the positive feedback flowing, when they know full well they're selling fakes. However as I've been perusing the feedback of various sellers, I've noticed that some buyers have left negative feedback, but with a positive symbol. So L@@K at the feedback, and keep your eyes peeled.
